Dying of the Light (2014)

 In 'Dying of the Light' Nicholas Cage plays a former CIA agent in the early stages of dementia, who acts on a tip as to the whereabouts of the terrorist who tortured him 22 years earlier. Writer director Paul Schrader did not get final cut and was unhappy with the finished product. This film never managers to quite transcend the clichés of it's story but there is a fine central performance from Cage. Contains Anton Yelchin in a supporting role. **1/2
